Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A great parody
I teach Children's Literature on the college level, and I've recently become a Pratchett fan. I'm not sure if very small children would like this book, but I read it to myself, out loud, twice. Giggling madly.

Yes, it's a Discworld book, and it probably helps to have read those. But it's really a parody of children's picture books. Anyone who has had to read *Goodnight Moon* or *Are You My Mommy* over and over and over every single night would probably find this funny; anyone who ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Great for Fans
If you are a Terry Pratchett fan, you'll enjoy this book. My daughter who is 3, wasn't that crazy about it, but I really liked it. Some of the characters like Coffin Henry are kind of gross looking, which might have been a turn-off for a girl who prefers fuzzy bunnies. I enjoyed it a lot.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - For real Discworld fans
OK, where do I start with this one? This funny little book is a companion to Terry Pratchett's book, Thud! It tells the story of Sam Vines sitting down with his son, Young Sam, and reading Young Sam's favorite book, Where's My Cow? But, really, what a silly book; Sam Vimes, Commander of the Ankh-Morpork Watch would write an entirely different book, Where's My Daddy? And, through the subsequent telling of the tale we get to see several Ankh-Morpork regulars, including Foul Ole Ron & Gaspode, Coffin' ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - VERY Terry Prachett!
This children's book follows right along the lines of most of the other Disc World type books that he has written. Probably good for about 2+ children. It is a story about a man who is reading 'Where's My Cow?' to his son. So in a since it is a story...within a story. Very cute and the illustrations are also very good.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent Illustrated Discworld Romp
Though generally found in the children's picture books, this is actually an illustrated book for adult fans of the Discworld--particularly those familiar with Thud! "Where's My Cow" starts out as the picture book Sam Vimes reads to young Sam in Thud! and Pratchett has, with his usual genius, taken it and given it the ol' Discworld flavor and turned it into a hilarious romp through Ankh-Morpork. Grant's illustrations are wonderful, capturing some of the characters perfectly (Vetinari, in particular) ... Read More
