Editorial Review:

Product Description:
“Let me carry you,” said the Robot.

“I’ll carry you in my heart, and shelter you from the cold and storms.”

High atop a pile of rubbish sits a lonely Robot with a broken heart. Then one winter’s day, a Bluebird appears, fighting against the freezing wind. When the Robot offers her a home in the empty space where his heart used to be, neither of them can predict what astonishing things will happen. Together the newfound friends set off on a memorable journey that will change them both.

This fable-like tale, bursting with bright, winsome illustrations, is a fresh take on the timeless themes of friendship and second chances.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Beautiful and engaging
I overheard my husband reading this to our 4- and 5-year-old boys, and it was so beautiful that I had to listen in myself. The story is so beautiful that it brought tears to my eyes, and the kids were completely absorbed in it as well. I agree with the other reviewers: a must-have for our library! This book is a treasure.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A Heart for a Robot

A robot has been built, but he is now broken and beyond repair. Off, he goes to the junkyard. What good is anything with a broken heart? However, one problem exists. This Robot is still alive.

After the seasons pass, snow begins to fall, and a bird lands on the ... Read More

This is a beautifully illustrated book and the story is great. I would totally recommend this book to anyone with kids.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - This is a heartwarming tale that your youngster will want you to read time and time again!
The little Robot had a broken heart. He put his hand on his head, the other close to his chest next to a heart that had literally fallen out of his chest. Everyone tried to help him out and fix him, but nothing was working. It looked like there were many replacement parts, but there wasn't anything to help him and he was "sent to sit on the scrap heap with all the other old machines." He just sat on that heap through all kinds of weather and through several seasons. Nothing.

Then on one ... Read More
