Editorial Review:

Product Description:
New in the “addicting” New York Times bestselling series featuring Sookie Stackhouse.

After the natural disaster of Hurricane Katrina and the manmade explosion at the vampire summit, everyone—human and otherwise—is stressed, including Louisiana cocktail waitress Sookie Stackhouse, who is trying to cope with the fact that her boyfriend Quinn has gone missing.

It’s clear that things are changing—whether the weres and vamps of her corner of Louisiana like it or not. And Sookie—Friend to the Pack and blood-bonded to Eric Northman, leader of the local vampire community—is caught up in the changes.

In the ensuing battles, Sookie faces danger, death, and once more, betrayal by someone she loves. And when the fur has finished flying and the cold blood finished flowing, her world will be forever altered.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - From Dead to Worse
As with the previous seven Sookie Stackhouse novels, this is also a "page-turner". Once I start, I literally can't put it down. Things are heating up between Sookie and Eric, and I do wish they would get together again. Maybe the new book due out in May will fulfill my wishes in this regard. As for Bill, it's easy to feel sorry for him (and for Quinn, too), but I think in the end, Eric and Sookie are the true soul mates, even if Eric won't admit it. Try it, you'll like it. But start at the ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Juicy, juicy, juicy!!!
The latest installment in the Sookie series did not disappoint!!! I love how Sookie is developing more and more with every book. I cant wait to get my hands on the next one!!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great read
From Dead to Worse was a great read just like the rest of Harris' works. I really enjoy the Southern Vampire series. This book didn't really have one giant central problems but rather a series of smaller problems which I kind of enjoyed. I think after 7 amazing books a lot of people were disappointed by the fact that there wasn't a huge climactic problem but Miss Stackhouse can only have so many problems in such a short time. I still thoroughly enjoyed it and kind of saw it as a "bridge" book in ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I love Sookie!
This book continues Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse series. These are very easy reads. I just got the set for my birthday last month & I've already read them twice. These books are great!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Now I can't wait for the next one!!!
Oh that poor Sookie! Trouble just follows her now, doesn't it??

Great book - now I'm ready for the next one to come out!
