Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - well, that explains it...
I've read many of the reviews from readers of this book and I'll have to say that I too, was left shaking my head after finishing this book. To my dismay, I found myself frequently wanting to quit before I finished the book because the hero was so annoying. I started reading the series, oh, perhaps, 2 weeks ago. So, I really followed the brothers from book one to book six within a relatively short time period. Call me obsessive...usually, if there's a series I take a shine to, I'll just keep reading ... Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Jipped
OK, so tptb took down my incomplete review because when I had posted it I was about 1/2 way through. I said I would be back and here I am.

To get to it - What I Liked
John, Qhinn, Blay, Rehvenge, Lassiter & the Return of a certain BD Brother

What I did not like
Phury & Cormia - Probably could have liked them more if Ms. Ward has spent more time on the development of their story. However they back-and-forth and back-and-forth and back... well you get my ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Lover Enshrined
If you like romance books at all, you have to read the entire "Black Dagger Brotherhood" Series by JR Ward. This series is the "BEST". It comes with strong characters and a never before written back drop. I just reccommend to start with the first in the series and progress from there.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Somewhat Disapointing
This is book six in J.R Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. In my opinion it is the weakest of the series so far, simply because it's too much of everything. I would actually rank it at about 3 1/2 stars.

The Plot:

Warrior Phury has agreed to act as the Primale of his species-basically, his task is to sire future warriors like himself by mating with the chosen females. Cormia is to be his first mate of the lot. His role as Primale is complicated by the fact that he has romantic ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Kinda disappointed
I want to start off saying i am a huge BDB fan. I love these books. I have to say i was disappointed in this book. Phury is so messed up in this book. I wanted him to find the love of his life like the other brothers have, and he did at the end but it was so hard for him. And I thought this was to be his book but it was more about John Matthew and his friends and the Lessors then about Phury. It was like Phury was the subplot in his own book. Also it was not a romance book it was darker then the other books. ... Read More
