...and there are certainly not enough excercises in the book to make sure all that knowledge will stick. I was very dissappointed by this book. I expected it to be much better; I've been out of high school for 15 years and was never any good at math to begin with but now I need to go to college so I had to start from rock bottom and work my way up. This book is basically a short refresher course on highschool mathematics. Just like the title says, it's all you'll ever need in your daily life- and then some. I managed to work my way through it in just over two months, picking my way through it day by day. When I was finished, I was surprised and pleased with how much I learned. A well put together book.
