I knew a little about the Enneagram and wanted a deeper understanding. Part 1 provides an excellent overview of the background of the Enneagram, how it is developed and how the interactions work. Part 2 is a reference section for when you neeed it, but take the time to reflect and absorb. Part 3 will challenge your thinking and self perception if you want to grow! A great book, I certainly have a better understanding of the Enneagram and how it can be used for self development/growth.

I am very pleased with this book. My husband and I had taken the Enneagram test online and I purchased this book to learn more about our personalities. It is an easy read and arrived in a very timely manner! I would recommend the book and seller to anyone!

Really neat for even beginners, better for people that have already been involved with this philosophy. Once you have narrowed down which one of the 9 types you most likely represent more closely, you start the journey of self improvement. It has helped me greatly - but do not expect fast results. Finding yourself takes time and you may at first mis-diagnose yourself or you may be in a phase of where you transcend from one type to another.
