I found this book for my 5 year old daughter - who loves it. The illustrations are good and the words are at her reading level. She is just beginning to understand play-on-words and loves these jokes. She shares a new joke with her grandmother every night. Even though she has been through the book several times (hence, the humor is a bit lost in the repetition), her delivery of the jokes cracks us up. I highly recommend this book for beginner readers!

This is a very funny and cute book for little ones. I bought it for my neice who was turning 4. She loves it and reads it every night.

My four year old (just turned 4) loved this book. He didn't 'get' a lot of the names but he laughed at each joke.

I found the book to be simple and fun to read to my toddler grandson.

This book was almost too young for my six year old, but she has great fun reading it over and over to her 1 year old brother, and telling me the knock knock jokes in the car. He likes the bright pages, and she loves the play on words coupled with the animal characters.
Sometimes I think if I hear "Wayne wayne, go away" one more time I might scream, though! ;)
