Excellent....keeps you mesmerized and not wanting to put the book down!!!! I bought these books for my husband who is 45 years old and has confessed that he has never read A book in his life.
I will continue to buy books for him. READING IS GREAT!!!!!

This is an amazing book. The stories are as harrowing as they are interesting. When you read this book you will have a renewed respect for these captains and their crews who brave the Bering Sea for our enjoyment of Alaskan King Crab. I don't want to spoil the book for those who haven't heard some of the stories before, but, reading the stories about shipping going down is especially heartbreaking. This book is strongly recommended for any fan of the Deadliest Catch show. The book offers short interviews with many of the key cast members offering a glimpse behind the scenes.

It took me about a three days to finish reading this book. Once I started, it was hard to stop. There is so much information and you learn a lot, not just about the captains and deckhands, but about waves, freak accidents, cpatain-speak, etc. I love it!
