I love this book. John Patrick Ireland is a true master of illustration. This is a comprehensive set of modern fashion poses. I love his clean, simple style! The templates can be easily adapted to all areas of fashion for Womens, Mens and Childrens. I just bought his other book the "encyclopedia of fashion details."

I purchased this book to save time drawing figures when sketching ideas for garments. Unfortunately the fashion figures in this book are just not very good. I know fashion figures are supposed to be stylized but these models are stiff and top heavy. The males have a curious lack of hips often coupled by an unusual medical condition by which they are without any distinct waist.
