Editorial Review:
Product Description: Disney’s new movie Chicken Little is retold in this Little Golden Book that is destined to become an instant classic! Young readers will delight in the story of a young chick who goes from being a little laughing stock to Mr. Big!

For the genius who slagged this book, maybe the title "Disney's Chicken Little" would have given you a clue it wasn't the original tale. Anyway, if you liked the CG animated film, this is a great way to introduce it to youngsters. My nephew can't sit through an entire 90 minute movie yet, but read him a bedtime story and he loves it, then goes out like a light. Know what you're talking about before you review something.

This is not the Chicken Little Story.
However we did get a laugh at how a childhood story from the past could be re-written so it has a happy ending and no moral to the story.

OK, I would have probably caught this had I read the "fine print." I ordered this book for my daughter but only after receiving it did I discover that it is NOT the Chicken Little of our childhoods. Rather, it's some ridiculous story of the chick getting abducted by aliens (really!) and saving the day when he returns the aliens' missing child to them.
Bottom line: Don't waste the money.
