Editorial Review:
Product Description: A fable that will inspire readers to think about their "personal reason for being" and that demonstrates allegorically a powerful way to approach life
In a small diner at a location so remote that it stands in the middle of the middle of nowhere, John-a man in a hurry-is at a literal and figurative crossroads. Intent only on refueling before moving along on his road trip, John finds sustenance of an entirely different kind: in addition to the specials of the day, the menu lists three questions that all diners are encouraged to consider:
Why are you here?
Do you fear death?
Are you fulfilled?
With the guidance of three people he meets at the caf, John embarks on a quest for answers that metaphorically takes him from the executive suites of the advertising world to the surf of Hawaii's coastline. Along the way, he discovers a new way to look at his life and relationships... and just how much you can learn from a green sea turtle. The Why Cafe will get readers young and free and older and entrenched to rethink their personal yardstick for success. Charming, simple, and inspiring, it will change lives.

Reading this book clarified my search for a primary purpose in my life, and I have subsequently taken action towards that purpose. Therefore I recommend it. I am totally staying out of the debates about its literary merit or gravitas. Also, it's the kind of book one can read quickly and count on re-reading quickly, which has its merits for helping one to focus.

The Why Cafe is a good precursor to John Strelecky's book, The Big Five For Life, Leaderships Greatest Secret. Recommend they be read in order. Both make you think and help you examine your life -- why am I here; what do I want to accomplish in my life.
I use the Big Five For Life in my college sophomore professional business writing course. The students enjoy the book and several have read The Why Cafe, as a supplement to the course.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1EBFIU1M3MU6I Once every few years I come across a book that prompts me to re-examine what I am seeking, what I have achieved so far, and what I should do to arrive at my goals. The best of these books jar me enough to make me analyze whether I should scratch through my current life plan and embrace another one.
This book did that for me--not on my first quick reading, but on a second reading a year or so later.

I really liked the structure of the story. The book ran the main character with reader naturally and the simple exaple using in the story inspire reader. The simple does not necessarily mean that it will be easy, but it will address you to have some new idea, thought, and new yourself. I really recommend to read this book for any type of reader. Wether it is true or not, just take a look and unlock the unfullfilled life.
