I bought the Kingfisher Geography Encyclopedia to use as a teaching tool for my young kids. We recently put a world map wall mural in the playroom and purchase this book to be used with the map. Now, when we hear about different areas of the world, we can head to the world map to find the location, then head to the Encyclopedia to learn about the place. Beautiful, bright pictures. The Kingfisher Geography Encyclopedia is concisely presented geographical facts with pictures, including a general map of each of the countries in the world. It is a great geographical reference tool, especially for grade school and maybe middle school.
