Jezebel, a succubus who feels is good no great at her job and loves it, now is mortal. I picked this book up on a whim, after being bored with my current readings, and was pleasantly surprised how much i enjoyed it.
Jezebel the succubus makes for a fast paced, humorous, and brisk ride through the life of a past demon struggling to get through life in New York city.
The story is a page turner from start to finish and really keeps you entertained. I love Jezebels sarcastic humor and lust for life. Its amusing how a former demon can enjoy the life of a human ... Read More

Yes, this book talks about sex in detail every few pages. I just sort of skip over them. I like this book because of the rest of it. I love paranormal romance and happy ending. So this book works for me. I couldn't put it down. The next book is great as well. Although I'm not much a fan of Daun (main character in the third book). I hope the author will write more about Jezebel and Paul. Please!

There are many reasons to love Hell's Belles by Jackie Kessler (Zebra Books, 2007). One is its heroine, Jezebel, who is literally a cloven-footed demon spawned in the depths of Hell. When Hell undergoes a change in management, succubus Jezebel is forced to give up her career of seducing the souls from mortal men and become a nightmare. Jezebel doesn't adapt well to the change, fleeing the Lake of Fire to become a mortal. And, since mortals have to pay the rent, she becomes a stripper.

For an evil minion of hell Jesse "Jezebel" x-succubus is anything but evil. Other than the fact that she enjoys sex and being the center of attention of her adoring fans at the strip club she ends up working at that's about as "evil" as she gets.
