when I picked up this book I didn't know what to expect. I have read everything by Dekker and if you have too then you understand why I didn't know what to expect. This book was good but not amazing. If you're looking for a book that will inspire and encourage your walk of faith then this is a great book. If you are looking for a fiction piece that is based in Christian beliefs then this is good. This is my favorite book other than the Bible. I have read it 4 times and have bought about half a dozen of them and given them to others to read. Others have enjoyed it very much also. It keeps you glued to the book, hard to get anything else done. Even though I already know how it ends it is still just as exciting to read and hard to put down.

Great book,Ted Dekkers books have had me reading all day long. I like the way he writes and Bill Bright. If your looking for other good books by Ted Dekker try Blink of an eye or thr3 there alot of fun to read too. Ted Dekker is my favorite human Author.

Excellent summer reading. I enjoyed it very much. To sit a relax enjoying God's creation while reading an uplifting book about God's work can only be a Good thing. Dekker's skill and research come through. Also read it's sequel - even better than this book.

This is an excellent book. It was recommended to me by a big Ted Dekker fan after I complained about feeling "cheated" at the end of Dekker's book Thr3e. He said that if I were only going to read one Dekker book, it should be Blessed Child, written with Bill Bright (founder of Campus Crusade for Christ).
