Editorial Review:
Product Description: White Rabbit Press top-selling Japanese Kanji Flashcards have helped thousands of Japanese language learners, in over 58 countries, master Japanese kanji. For just a few cents per card, our meticulously designed and researched cards save you countless hours by bringing together all the information you need to master Japanese kanji in a convenient flashcard format to make study and drills as efficient as possible. Each White Rabbit Press kanji flashcard includes six commonly used kanji compounds that s more than any other product because we believe that the essence of a kanji is best grasped by understanding the meanings it forms when combined with other characters. Our cards also include the kanji s On and Kun readings, stroke order diagrams, look-alike kanji, the reading of each example word in kana scripts with definitions in English, and more. Additionally, White Rabbit Press kanji cards are the only kanji cards on the market that provide complete preparation for the kanji portion of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). Quality Construction Cards are poker-size, 3.5 x 2.5 (8.89 cm x 6.35 cm), printed on UV coated card stock with rounded-corners for increased durability. Color-Coded 739 JLPT Level 2 cards printed in purple ink Includes a Complete Index A consolidated yomi and stroke order index is included which covers all the cards in both Volume 1 and 2 flashcard sets.

These cards are great. They're nice and sturdy, and have the kanji on the front with stroke order, compounds, and similar looking kanji that you can mistake for the one being studied, while on the back, they have the On and Kun readings and the definitions of the kanji and compounds. These have gone great with James Heisig's Remembering the Kanji (Vol. 1 & 2) even though the book has twice as many kanji as both sets of these flashcards. The only downside to these cards (at least mine) was they stank ... Read More

If you are like me, you have already tried many different systems for learning Japanese easily. I got sick of trying these "learn quick and easily" methods, and decided to go back to the method that's tried and true. This is after I came to the (perhaps obvious) conclusion that there is no easy way to learn Japanese. It's an entire language, not trivial at all--I've spent my entire life living in English, and there are still some things I can't get right. So, in preparation to take the JLPT 2 ... Read More

As I am beginner I can't recomend this product for beginners for learning. This is too much difficult - it's really good idea to start with Volume 1 :-)) But the style of it is excellent.

Before this set went on the market, I tried using some other kanji cards that I bought in Japan, and was disappointed. They all have problems, such as useless vocabulary examples, poor durability, or random organization.
These are the best kanji cards on the market, even in Japan, and are designed especially for English speakers. They're highly durable, and are organized by JLPT level. This ensures that you're learning the most important kanji first.
Learning these JLPT level ... Read More
