Editorial Review:
Product Description: Told from the point of view of a Border Collie dog, "Brigadoon's Luck (whatever that means)" offers a sensitively written and charmingly illustrated story book by Susan Schapiro, author, and Janet Barnett, illustrator. Brigadoon endures a series of trials due to constant misunderstanding and change until he is able to realize what he, or anybody, needs in an effort to achieve self respect and contentment.

As an author myself, I found that it was clear and well written. I recommend it to people of ... Read More

I just loved this book. It was not only pleasure read for a 40 year old man but it will be even more fun to read to my 3 year old daughter. The book touched my heart as it will for anyone who loves animals and/or has children. It is the perfect book to begin your child on the road to reading for the sake of reading. I highly recommend this book.

This is a charming story of a young dog who has difficulty finding his place in the world. The text is simple but subtle, and the drawings are absolutely adorable. It is a wonderful discussion-provoker for an older young child (4-6), and a great introduction to the ideas that what you do can be misinterpreted, and that you may be misinterpreting things that others do.
