Love this book. SO many Beatles songs, easy to play, just a wonderful collection in general. Great for a beginner to intermediate piano/keyboard player.

Bought this for my sons who have been taking piano lessons. Since they have been brainwashed by my musical tastes, I thought they might like to play familiar songs. So far "Penny Lane", "Lady Madonna", and "For No One" have been mastered. It is so nice to hear these songs being played.

If you are a beatles fan, this is a great book. However dont get misled by other reviewers when it comes to "beginner" level - you need average music reading/playing skills to make most from this book. If you want real easy - i just bought the Beatles Rockband.....kids love rockin' to the beatles on that !! :-)

The song selections are great but the arrangements are very very simplistic, at best. So, if you are a TRUE beginner who is just starting to learn to sight read, this is great. But if you are relying on the right finger positions, forget about it! I'm not sure who arranged these but the "fingering" is way off and it will drive you nuts as it did me (if you rely on that kind of thing).
