OK, my review for the first installment of the "Shaken" series, Without Warning (Shaken, Book 1) (Bk. 1) may have been a little harsh, but I'm not a "uber" fan and the references to the Xena universe were a little too much for me. Luckily for me, I re-read WW and got past my "uber" hang-ups enough to appreciate both Lily and Anna as individual characters as well as a really sweet couple. Absolutley loved this book. I was a big fan of the first two from the series but this one is my favorite. So very sweet. Leaves you wanting more. If you read the first two this one is an absolute must. You're going to love it!

KG MacGregor is definitely one of the best writers in this genre. This is the third novel of the Shaken Series and there's a hint at the end that it may not be the last. Nobody does better at writing characters who are just average people going about their lives. In this novel, Lily and Anna consider bringing a little boy into their lives and as he's written he's one irresistible little boy. Looking forward to the next installment.

Originally published in `Shaken' this series is one that should not be missed. This third installment is a complex story about two women - one who wants children and one who does not - who have committed to a life together and have to work through this polarizing issue.
Lily doesn't know she has a sister until her sister is killed. She subsequently learns the sister had a young son who is now living in foster care. She is determined to ensure he has the best future available.
