Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Fourteen years after the first volume in the highly acclaimed Interiors series comes the first of our all-new updated titles: New Paris Interiors. The city of light is a place of persistent beauty, from the Tuileries gardens to the banks of the Seine to the heights of Montmartre. But the restrained palette of beige and stone painted by the city's noble architecture may leave one wondering if Parisians are color-impaired. Fear not--for New Paris Interiors, Angelika Taschen has brought together a selection of apartments so astonishing, so surprising, and so inspiring that you very well might not know what hit you. Think texture, think dynamic space, think eclectic, think vivid colors--these interiors are packed floor to ceiling with new ideas, unexpected pleasures, and prime examples of 21st century living. Architect India Mahdavi, French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld, auctioneer Simon de Pury, shoemaker Christian Louboutin, gallerists Philippe Jousse and Didier and Cleménce Krzentowski, fashion designer Rick Owens, and many more of the city's most interesting personalities have opened their doors for this breathtaking collection of resplendent Parisian homes.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Low profile interiors
I was very satisfied when I purchased New York Interiors and thought I would be very happy with this volume too.

If you are as me looking for good interior design ideas I'd say you can do without this book, while some solutions(not architectural, but of furnishing)might be funny or interesting they really don't give a good insight of what's ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent showcase of Paris interiors
This book is an excellent viewbook if you want to get a taste of contemporary Paris interiors. It has very modern, a bit more classic and very chic interiors as well. The photos are all full page and very well made, high quality. A fun book to flip through and get inspiration from!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - How the other half lives...
I'm going to love poring over this book over and over again. It's impossible to look through it all at once, anyway, it's so big and the visual onslaught is overwhelming. Being a middle-class, Great Plains middle-aged person, I will never see these apartments and rooms myself, but it's fun to see how world-class artists, musicians, actors, directors, designers and financiers like to decorate their homes. Some of them, I swear, are compulsive collectors - stuff *everywhere*! Most are beautiful rooms, ... Read More
