There are three big problems I have with this whole series of CD's.
The first is that a good number of the themes featured on them are lousy renditions of the orginals, or lousy recordings of the originals. For instance, the "Twilight Zone" theme (a reconstruction) sounds as if the studio orchestra didn't work off a score, but just sort of noodled something together that sounded a little like it. Those reviews complaining that the tv themes are too short are correct, but most are the original recordings like heard from the shows themselves. If you are looking for or want the full version of these songs, look elsewhere, or maybe try iTunes. Some might be/maybe outdated, so take what you can get at this point in time. Don't worry, be happy!

I must say I found this many years ago and loved it. When I was a kid I had a cassette tape I made with tv themes on it. I thought it was great. this is like someone got in my head and used the idea.
The whole series I love. Some of the themes are not what you might want. The Knight Rider one does NOT have the voice over, which I think is what made it memorable. But that is a small problem. All told the series is GREAT. I want a new one with other themes.

Just as the other low rated reviews say, these are NOT the original recordings. I bought the first 3 volumes in a store thinking they would be original, but was disappointed when I listened. Attention TeeVee Toons: I won't buy any more of your products because you can't be trusted to clearly identify the music as reproductions. One of the best road CD's to have and I dare you not to reminisce when you hear some of these themes!!!!
