Editorial Review:
Amazon.com essential video: Alicia Silverstone won everyone over with her portrayal of a Beverly Hills teen, Cher, whose penchant for helping others with their relationships and self-esteem is a cover for her own loneliness. Director Amy Heckerling (Fast Times at Ridgemont High) made a smart, funny variation on Jane Austen's novel Emma, sweetly romantic and gently satirical of 90210 social manners. The cast is unbeatable: Dan Hedaya as Cher's rock-solid dad, Wallace Shawn as a geeky teacher, Paul Rudd as the boy who has always been Cher's surrogate brother--and the true holder of her most secret wishes. --Tom Keogh

The Bottom Line:
Though Clueless is a bit too willing to embrace the formulaic conventions of the genre, for the majority of its running length it's a smart and funny teen movie.

The movie arrived in perfect condition as described on the website and it was an overall very good transaction.

The product was delivered pretty quickly and it was in amazing condition so I have no complaints

this is a great modern twist of EMMA by jane austen. if you have a teen who has to read EMMA have her watch this movie as a prilimanary to get her reved up and help explain some of the main story points.

Boy, I miss the Emma parallel here: Jane Austin's girl
have a little class, this little dork b-tch is a shame on us all?
A valley girl with a vacuum isn't a good role model
for anybody.
Make over into a human is what she needs?
The head kid seems to have more humanity
than the lead actress.
I lost my sense of humor here about the time she
got A's for setting up her teachers...
She needs a parent of some sort.
