I am 23 years old and i had this with my Sega back when i was a kid. I loved this game. It was simple and how hockey games should be played!
They took out the blood in nhl 94 and made it more suitable for kids, which in my opinion was a huge mistake. Everyone is a sissy anymore! if kids cant tell the diffence between a video game and life, then they need some serious freakin help.

This was a game my brother and his friend played all the time in high school. It does not have the same game play as the newer versions do but the simplicity of the game makes it wonderful. It is a classic and my brother and I still play it. Luc Robitaille has a wicked slapshot that when shot at the right spot will more often than not find its way into the back of the net. If you want to know where ask me and I will be glad to enlighten you.

This game was fun. You could be any team back then. Have playoffs , season, or exhibition game. It was fun discovering the teams playing then and what players played for who. I never knew Adam Oates played for the Bruins until I played this. I also discovered ways of scoring goals.
