I have no doubt that this extended version of LOTR is the best film that most people have never seen. It is definitely the best fantasy film I've ever seen and should rank among the top 5 films of all time. Those looking for a film on the scale of Avatar will probably not appreciate the feeling of independence that director Peter Jackson has crafted into this film. I love my dvd. I brought it used, but it look new. It was the best buy I made. I love the movie and I always want the un-cut copy of the movie and now I have it. It's the best. :-)
