Well, this just arrived today and my 2-year old daughter went right for it. It comes in a mesh/net package that we tore apart easily enough. I really liked the nice, bright primary color scheme of this play set...as far as the educational aspects of this toy, I would consider this the main one. I can imagine my daughter setting up a red place setting, an all blue place setting, and so on.
