The first season of Lizzie Mcguire was classic. I have to say the stars of the show were the supporting cast including Tudgeman, Matt, and Sam and Jo McGuire. The trio is great, but as the show went on it became more and more of a stretch to find Lizzie as an "average" girl despite being clearly the best looking girl in school and being in an Aaron Carter video, dating Frankie Muniz, etc. The episodes in the first season were the best and the series went downhill after. Hilary Duff made her true start in "The Lizzie McGuire Show"...this tv show is truly great for any Duff fan. The show focuses on Lizzie McGuire, her family and school friends...it's a very light-hearted and funny family show. Only thing I wish is that Disney Video would bother to release the rest of the box set volumes for this show...22 episodes out of a total 65 will ultimately prove not enough if you're a real fan of Lizzie McGuire or Hilary Duff in general.

I bought the product as a gift for my 11 going on too-teen daughter and it has been an absolute success. Timeless teenage girl issues are treated in a light and most candid way.. I hope to be able to get her the next shows sometime soon.

Episodes in this box set rocks of course if you are a fan of the show. :) You'll have fun watching these episodes no matter your age and lifestyle as long as you love this show. :D
Sadly, the show is slowly airing off from Disney Channel. Please help by signing this person's petition to request for a release of a second box set of Lizzie Mcguire.

Love this show! Great family-friendly entertainment. I am anxiously awaiting the release of the follow-up sets. Good lessons and upbeat positive attitudes displayed by kids on show. Lizzie is the kind of kid you'd want as a friend for your own children.
Please release the rest of the series on DVD!
