THE NEW ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD: The Crusades had finished and Robin Hood and his band of merry men had disbanded. That is until the Sheriff of Nottingham escapes with the much-valued Crown Jewels of the King. The Sheriff engages the Vikings to overthrow the King and the battle ensues... Of course, Robin Hood succeeds once again--and finally marries the lovely Maid Marion. THE NEW ADVENTURES OF WILLIAM TELL: William Tell is summoned into town to plead on the behalf of his jailed son, Christian. On his way he falls into an ice cave and in his unconscious state is given three arrows by an ice warrior: one for truth, one for deceit, and one to gain nothing. When Tell refuses to bow to the evil Governor's hat, the irate Governor declines to release his son unless Tell shoots an apple from Christian's head. Tell aims and fires a perfect shot and insults the Governor for which he himself is jailed along with his son. The Governor attempts to transfer Tell to a special dungeon and on the way Tell escapes, killing the Governor with the deceit arrow. As Tell rushes to free his son, he comes across the coach carrying the fleeing Lady Margaret, evil Mistress of the Governor's court. Realizing that this last arrow would gain him nothing, he spares her life and instead gives her the arrow. She departs in peace. ALI BABA: Ali Baba is a poor woodcutter who gains instant wealth when he happens upon a thieve's cave containing countless treasures. The door to the magic cave only opens to the command "Open Sesame." Ali Baba shares his secret with his greedy brother who goes to the cave, but when he is fully laden and ready to leave, he forgets the magic words for opening the cave door and is killed by the thieves on their return. To his amazement, Ali Baba discovers amongst his recently acquired treasures that there is a Genie in a jewel encrusted vase. When the thieves discover that some of their booty is missing, they seek revenge on Ali Baba, who is able to foil their attack with the help of the Genie. Realizing that it was greed that caused the death of his brother, the treasure is distributed among the poor.
