This would have been a great purchase with the exception that once I got it, I got out the instructions, which seemed easy enough but could not fit the rod into the bottom, no matter what I did. I broke a sweat for 40 minutes before calling customer support. After being on hold for 20 minutes, the woman informed me that there is a known problem with this scooter that there is an incorrect part and that she was going to email me new instructions for putting it together and that it if I could not ... I've use this scooter for transportation from my old parking lot to work, about a mile each way on sometimes-messed-up concrete. It's held up well, and I love it. It's stable, fast, and folds up very compactly. If you're going to get a scooter for something more than just playing around in the driveway, this is the one to get.

WE bought this for my daughter as our church was giving us a shower for her little, just adopted sister. We wanted her to get something fun, too. We bought the pro because of the higher weight limit - in case her dad wanted to take a spin on it. We're very glad we did!! It's very worth the little extra money.

This is really a great scooter for young and old alike! ...and the video DVD that comes along with it inspires scooter riding. The kids get great exercise on it, and it's strong enough for many grownups to ride as well.
