Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Captain Scarface (1953) - Foreign Agents Plot Destruction Of Panama Canal! Atom Bomb Smuggled In Hold Of Ship! Sam Wilton (Erickson) is a man in trouble: he needs to get out of South America and back to the USA, and fast. Sam is friends with the bartender at the Los Rios Hotel, and as it happens, several guests of that establishment have booked passage to the states on vessel named the Banos. When fatal misfortune befalls one the passengers, Wilton seizes on the opportunity to steal the dead man's identity and board the ship. Little does Sam know that the man he is impersonating is a associate of the ship's captain - the sinister 'Scarface' Trednor - and a co-conspirator in a communist plot so diabolical, it is beyond imagining! /// Adventure Island (1947) - A trio of down-and-outers in a tropical fishing village just can't seem to catch a break, and inevitably find themselves in jail for theft. But one of them - a disgraced former captain - get's an assignment on a cargo vessel, and makes the other two his mates. All is not well - a fire in the cargo hold destroys most of their food and supplies, and the cargo itself turns out to be worthless. Desperate and hungry, they set ashore to an uncharted island, only to find it ruled by a maniacal British man who treats his guests with merciless cruelty, and dispenses lethal summary justice. Talk about bad luck!
