We bought this garage for our son's third birthday. It is much more durable than the new plastic models, and he plays with it for an hour at a time. The car that comes with it is nice with rubber wheels, but hot wheels and matchbox cars work well, too. His 8-year-old brother even enjoys playing with this garage. I would definitely recommend--good quality, which I would expect for the price.

This is probably my son's favorite toy. He spends hours running his cars up and down the ramps and lining his cars up in various fashions. He doesn't use the elevator much even though I think this is a cool part of this toy. It could be because the elevator takes some work and dexterity that he doesn't quite have at 3. We found this garage in a toy store. My 2 1/2 year old son already had a fisher price little people garage, so I tried to steer him away from this one. He had a gift certificate, and this was the toy he picked, out of an entire store full of options. I finally gave in and let him purchase it, and I'm very glad we did. My son loves this parking garage. It is a durable, classic, wooden toy. This is a cherished toy that will be kept to pass to future generations. My only complaint is that the ramps are not attached. The garage has short pegs which fit into the holes in the bottom of each ramp. They don't lock into place and come off frequently.
