I bought this set because, as a grown man, I really couldn't justify spending much more money than this on a toy. Still, it brought me back to my youth! I've always liked the LEGO Technic sets, and it seems like they've come a long way since the last time I put one together. I made the "A" model, the dune buggy - with rear suspension and a "working" 2-cylinder engine. It was very interesting to put together, and well-planned. I did not expect too much from this model but in the end it has proven a very fun, robust model. It is a simple design that works very well. The engineering principles are easy to see and it holds up to rough play from the children.
