Great fun, not durable as I already need a replacement product after 1 use. Water leaked into the interior and several small tears. Manufacturer was great about replacement. Difficult to dry out and store at end of season. But at end of season almost 1/2 price...

We have had a lot of fun with this slide. My kids play for 4-5 hrs at a time on it without showing any signs of stopping. We decided we needed to get about 35 uses out of it in order to be as cost effective as the local pool.

This waterslide is so much fun for the kids. The neighborhood kids will all have a blast. Only thing I would have to complain about would be that with all the kids using the slide the seams tear easily. We have a hole in it already, but we have it duck taped and it is good to go for more play.

This water slide may be expensive (at the end of summer it seems to go on sale, saving you a fair bit), but it is well worth it. I highly recommend to anyone who typically rents jumps and/or slides for birthdays or parties to go ahead and buy your own, such as this. It is not made of the same material, but it is still very durable--we have used it at least two dozen times this summer since we bought it in late May.

Reviews of the various "consumer grade" slides had me a little nervous about ordering one. I half expected the thing to be made of parachute nylon, ready to rip the first time our boys gave it a try. I can happily report that the Vortex at least, is made of sturdier stuff. It has a 400lbs total weight capacity (180lbs max per person) and by all my inspection, looks quite durable.
