I am interested in raising alpacas. This book was highly recommended to me during the 2009 Florida Alpaca Breeders Association show on October 24, 2009 in Ocala, FL. One breeder was selling the book (brand new) for $140.00. I was hesitant to spend so much thinking I could get a better price through Amazon.com. Boy, was I wrong! Who would EVER spend $275 when the book can be found on the internet as low as $130? Not me for certain! I'm shopping elsewhere!

This book was wonderful. I was unaware such a title existed until our Llama got sick. After taking her to the vet they recommended getting this title. Although the intital cost seemed high I know it has saved me many thousands of dollars in vet bill do to its vast information on all aspects of the alpaca and llama. Would recommend to anyone with either of these animals!!
