Editorial Review:

Description:
A new student, DUKE DEVLIN, defeats JOEY in a game of Duel Monsters, forcing JOEY to become his servant. DUKE orders JOEY to wear a dog costume and humiliates him in public, leading YUGI to challenge DUKE to a duel. However, this will not be a Duel Monsters duel but a new game named DUNGEON DICE MONSTERS! In exchange for JOEY’s freedom, YUGI agrees to give up Duel Monsters forever if he loses. Unfamiliar with the rules, YUGI gets off to a rough start. His chances do not improve as DUKE reveals that he designed DUNGEON DICE MONSTERS with PEGASUS’s aid! Can YUGI learn the new complex rules, much less form a strategy, before he is soundly defeated? YUGI uses his innate gaming skills to turn the tables on DUKE, but DUKE has one more rule to mention: All creatures take up territory on the grid-like board. With no room to summon any new monsters, YUGI’s position is helpless! After DUKE’s all-powerful ORGOTH THE RELENTLESS dices YUGI’s entire cadre of monsters into shreds, YUGI only has one turn left before he loses all his heart points! YUGI’s last hope rests in one final dice roll in the thrilling conclusion to Dungeon Dice Monsters!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - An interesting concept...
These four episodes are some of the most interesting in the first season. A new game shop opens in Domino to rival that of Yugi's grandfather, so Joey decides to take matters into his own hands to convince Duke, the owner, to shut it down. Well, it ends up with Yami facing Duke in a game of Dungeon Dice Monsters. Yes, as in something OTHER than Duel Monsters for once! Amazing... Overall, it's pretty entertaining, with Tristan and Tea getting in some amusing comments from the sidelines. Duke is a ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Good
These are possibly my favorite eppisodes out of all 224 eppies of YGO: DM.

I actually haven't watched these certain eppies uncut YET (I have them on DVD uncut in Japanese) but most times the dub makes me want to change the channel; these eps aren't like that.

If you don't mind the dub (I hate it) get this DVD to get some great eppies but I'm gonna stick with buying my imports.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome Gift Set with FREE BLUE EYES!
OK, I just got this DVD gift set so I can tell you that it does include a Blue Eyes White Dragon booster monster for Dungeondice Monsters (of course, because the DVD story is all about Dungeondice Monsters). The DVD includes all 4 episodes of Yu-Gi-Oh! Dungeondice Monsters (normally, the Yu-Gi-Oh! DVD's only have 3 episodes, so this is a bonus even without the free gift). At the top of the box is a clear window where you can see your Blue Eyes White Dragon, a free gift which is actually an ultra rare ... Read More
