First of all - it is MUCH smaller than i had anticipated but then, I had never seen the plan toy cars before. But I thought the pictures were a bit missleading.
I love the wood it's made of and my son loves it. Unfortunately his favorite pass time has been to pick off the tires and they tend to end up in his little sister's mouth.

When we got this, I was suprised by how small it was. It is part of the Plan City, so I guess it's proportional. Having said that, my son (2 1/2) loved it. He wanted to sleep with it every night. He did get a little frusterated because the back gate doesn't stay up. Also, he took all of the little black wheels off. That could be a choking hazard for little ones.

This is a nice addition to the plan toys roadway system. My 2 year old imagaines all sorts of scenerios where this truck (usually functioning as a wreaker) comes to the rescue. It is also used to haul various types of cargo.
