Don't want to spoil anyone but I played the game when it came out and finished it in a few days. Just a great experience being in the town/cities and the outskirts while horseback riding. The AI are fairly smart and makes you feel the world is alive around you.
I had a hard time with the controls in the beginning but got the hang of it about an hour later.

well what can i say about this game that has not been said i though this game would be the best game all year but i was wrong its the kinda of game where you do the same thing over and over and over come on even grand theft auto had you doing something different every now and then

I waited until November 2008 to purchase this game. 1) I didn't think it would be very good 2) I didn't really have time to put into it.
It was well worth the wait. I've only played the game for a total of about 4 hours so far and I really appreciate the story line and feel of the game. I don't usually play this type of game but, I'll admit, this is one I will finish. The game play reminds me of Tomb Raider and Ninja Gaiden (the new version). If you haven't played this yet and ... It is a really good game which I highly recommend by and play.
Assassin's Creed is a third-person stealth game in which the player primarily assumes the role of Altaïr as experienced by Desmond.
You will enjoy playing this awesome game.
