My two boys had lots of fun with this toy, but it only lasted about 2 months before the stand broke completely off. I'd have hoped for it to last longer! We've tried 3 other kinds since, none seem durable enough for youngsters...

I have to admit I was skeptical when my husband brought this home for our 15 month old son. I thought he was too young for this toy. Within a week, my son learned how to hold AND swing the bat properly. I was amazed! Soon thereafter he began making direct contact with the ball. Now he can hit the ball cleanly and his hand-eye coordination is much better. It was impressive to see how quickly he developed the necessary skills to hit the ball. This toy is easy to store and you can use regular wiffle balls as replacements. Note that you need to make sure your child is not using the bat to hit anything or anyone else nearby. What a great toy!

We had no idea what to get our son for his 3rd birthday. We saw this and made a rash decision to get it. We have not been disapointed. We take it outside to play all the time and he is SO good!! He loves playing and he can put it together himself and he hangs it to store it himself. It is very durable and a very good design. I love the fun, and education of it but also the storage of it. Keeping it all in one area is simple and DS knows where the balls go and when we go to play with it, you dont have to go on a search for every single piece of it.!! LOVE THIS!
