I was very happy in the time it took to get the movie. I also liked the quality of the c-d (new). The movie is very good too.

Is through out her rich famoly home, because her boyfriend likes her. Weird famly plot.

I really, really wanted to like this film. I mean Shirley MacLaine is wonderful to watch, and Brendan Fraser is proven leading man material. Despite all the slams about Ricki Lake's acting ability, I really did not expect too much because compared to MacLaine and Fraser, Lake is a beginner at best. However, what was truly disappointing was Fraser's performance. Don't get me wrong; he did an excellent rich snob performance, but beyond that, his personality died when Hugh, the fun-loving brother, died. There seemed to be absolutely no positive chemistry between Fraser and Lake. The tango scene was the best they could do, but even that scene fell flat. While I might believe he was horny, falling in love is a stretch in this scene and the rest of the movie for that matter. During the time Fraser's character was supposed to be falling in love with Lake's character, he constantly made me feel that he had a bad taste in his mouth. At least Lake showed an attempt at emotions. Granted Fraser was supposed to be reserved and stoic, but it appeared as if he signed on to this movie for the money and regretted it after they killed off Hugh. I actually Googled this movie to see if he was having some personal problems during the filming of this flick. Bottom line, if I didn't feel like he wanted to be anywhere else but there and/or wanted a breath mint after each encounter with Lake, I would have liked this movie much better--it had great potential as a romantic comedy.

This movie was excellent.I loved watching it.It had sadness and happiness in it.It definitely is a movie that will make you see that nice things can happen to people.
