Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Just Buy It
I LOVE this CD. A few of the songs are kick-butt-awesome, a few of them suck. But 'no matter what' the bad songs are like, the good ones can compensate.
Here's a rating of each song for ye:
1, Yu-Gi-Oh! Theme Song
The Yu-Gi-Oh them song, is, well, the Yu-Gi-Oh theme song.
Frankly, I've always resented this song b/c the Japanese them is so much better than ours. But nonetheless, nicely done. 8/10.

2. Time 2 Duel
It's nice, but repetitive. You'll tire of it fast. 5/10.

3. I'm back
I freakin' loved this song. It was played in the show when Kaiba was breaking into his little computer room and Yugi was fighting 'Ghost Kaiba'. It even had a dialogue in it.
And Mokuba had the last words in it, and Mokuba's my hero, so 10/10.

4. Summon the Dragon
It's an instrumental. Nice, but an instumental.
I'm easily bored. 8/10

5. You're Move
I think it was played in the Weevil vs. Yugi match. Maybe.
It's iffy. 6/10

6. Duel Madness
Another iffy one. 4/10

7. No Matter What
This song was played when Yugi and Joey had to dueleach other. Great song. I love it. It's really cool! 10/10

8. Exodia
Another instrumental. Nice, but I'm still bored here. 7/10

9. Ahead of the Game
What can I say? It was okay. 6/10

10. We'll be there
This was, one of the nauseating things I've ever had the misfortune to listen to. Starting with a Téa friendship speech, tt goes on to a set of even more horrible lyrics. Oy.
I think it was supposed to be Yugi and Téa singing, although it definitely was not. It sounds like them, though. I'm guessing it was deliberate b/c the singers sounded just like them.
Iffy melody. 4/10

11. Face Up, Face down
This one made me so unbelievably happy.
The music was pretty good...
But Pegasus sang it and I love him. 9/10

12. Mellenium Battle
I kinda liked this, but it was an instrumental. 8/10

13. Heart of the Cards
I didn't like this song.
But it was written and sung by Eric Stuart (who, by the way, is the voice of Kaiba and other assorted extras on the show). 7/10

14. World of YuGiOh
Not bad. Not good. Not bad. 7/10

The only two songs that I can really get excited about are 'No Matter What' and 'I'm Back'. But both of them are awesome.

The only disappointment was that the song from the Panic episode wasn't in there. Oh, well. Can't win them all.

But, seriously, buy this CD. It's worth it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - One of the best CD's
Yu-Gi-Oh Music to Duel By is one of the best Cd's I have ever lisened to.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Buy this! No Matter What!
Get the title? It's a pun!

Moving on...

Anyone who's seen the duel between Yugi and Joey is familiar with the song "No Matter What." The first time I heard this song, I fell in love with it. It was totally awesome. I had to have it. So I found this CD and ordered it.

As much as I'd love to tell you that this is a fantastic CD with mind bending music and unbelievable songs, I can't. The other songs just don't hold a candle to "No Matter What." Don't let that deter you, though. This song alone is well worth the price of the CD. I've played that song so many times I'm surprised I haven't worn it out yet.

Don't get me wrong, here. The other songs aren't terrible. In fact, I have to say their better that 90% of the other music on the market, they just aren't spectacular.

"No Matter What"? Rock on. I made a copy of it (this song only) and gave it to a friend of mine - and she loves it. She still doesn't know it's a Yu-Gi-Oh song... although she has commented on the lyrics. I really don't plan to tell her.

So yeah, buy it.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Cool CD
I really liked this CD. Some songs are a bit repetitive, so I gave it 4 stars. Below are my ratings for each song.

1, Yu-Gi=Oh! Theme Song
THis one is GREAT. It's a mix of seasons 1 and 2 and is very well done. 10/10

2. Time 2 Duel
This one's OK, but repetitive. 5/10

3. I'm back
Great Song. Better guitar peice. 8/10

4. Summon the Dragon
This (along with tracks 8 and 12) is completely instumental, with no vocals at all. It's the music they play on the show when they duel. 9/10

5. You're Move
This is a pretty good song, but it's REALLY repetitive. 6/10

6. Duel Madness
Well, the background music is good. 4/10

7. No Matter What
This song was played when Yugi and Jonouchi dueled in the kingdom. It's really cool! 10/10

8. Exodia
I'll give you 3 guesses what this one's about and the first two don't count. Anyway, this is another instrumental. 7/10

9. Ahead of the Game
I think this is a Pegasus thing. Repetitive song though. 5/10

10. We'll be there
Another one of those things about freindship and blah blah. Its pretty good though. 7/10

11. Face Up, Face down
This one is sung by the Pegasus voice actor. It's pretty darn good. 9/10

12. Mellenium Battle
Great song, no vocals, like tracks 4 and 8. Did you notice all non-vocal tracks are multiples of 4? 10/10

13. Heart of the Cards
It's okay. 5/10

14. World of YuGiOh
This is a catchy tune! 8/10

All in all, this is a good Cd, but if you only have 15 dollars, get the movie soundtrack.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Obviously The Best!
I enjoyed this CD more than Yu-Gi-Oh! Movie Soundtrack and I've got loads of free time so here's my review.

1)Yu-Gi-Oh! Theme: 5/5. This is a well mixed version of the original theme tune with a cool little Egyptian bit at the start which gives it an extra something. It's also got Pegasus's kind of theme tune in it.

2) Time 2 Duel: 5/5. This one is obviously my favourite track. The guy who sang this rules, I think his name is Russel Velázquez. This is the best rock song on the whole CD. Is it just me or does the lead singer sound exactly like Joey? Wicked.

3) I'm Back: 3/5. It's got a good tune but it's not really "up my street". I'm one of those head bangers so this one didn't really impress me. I think this one is for total Kaiba lovers. I'm more of a Joey fan myself. The lead singers voice isn't too good either.

4) Summon The Dragon: 4.5/5. I love this battle tune because I love Kaiba's theme. It sounds like the Matrix music as my Best Friend Stephanie puts it. The only bad thing about this track is that it only plays the cool rock introduction onec through the whole song and that's the best part of it.

5) Your Move: 4/5. Again a bit of a Kaiba song, it has his theme in it but it has enough rap in it to keep me happy. The singer sounds like Kaiba as well. The same croaky voice. Really a great tune though. Gets a bit boring after a while.

6) Duel Madness: 5/5. Although this is the most Kaiba song on the CD this is one of my favourites. Most of the song is Rap and Rock and my friend who hates Yu-Gi-Oh! loved this song. This is a must have like Time 2 Duel. My favourite bit is at the beginning when he says "virtual systems ready"! I've learnt all the words now because I love the song so much. It's sounds kinda old but it's still one of the best! :)

7) No Matter What: 2/5. This is one of the only pop/rock songs on the CD and to be honest it disapointed me. The singers were scabby and the one that sings most of it sounds like Elton John! This is obviously about Joey and Yugi but it kinda freaked me out when it says they were "closer than brothers"! Whats going on there?! It sounds really old as well. The singer that's supposed to represt Joey isn't very clear when he's singing. I can't tell whether he's saying Serenity always meant the world to him or Yugi. I hope it was Serenity! As a Joey fan I was disapointed.

8) Exodia: 4/5. A nice little battle track. It has a nice Egyptian tune as well. Unfortunately it hasn't enough rock music in it for my liking which brings it to a 4 instead of a 5.

9) Ahead of the Game: 1/5. I absoloutely HATE this tune! How the hell is the singer supposed to sound like Pegasus? And what is going on when he says "I'll be on your cheek". *shudder* what a freak! He can't reach those high notes! AWFUL!

10) We'll Be There: 4/5. You might think that me being a head banger would hate this pop tune but no, I love this one. I love duets and they can both sing *take notes ahead of the game guy*! The intro sounds more like Joey & Téa but the singing sounds exactly like Yugi & Téa. The only reason this track didn't get a 5 was because the tune sounds like it's just been copied off the lion king "can you feel the love tonight".

11) Face Up Face Down: 5/5. Another Stephanie favourite. The first time you hear this tune you think what a freak but the more times you hear it, the more you love it. This DOES sound like Pegasus and HAS got a catchy tune. I love the evilness of this song. It's so cool.

12) Millenium Battle: 5/5. This is my favourite battle track because has got the best harmonies and tunes in it. At exactly 2:36 is my favourite point, it makes me tingle everytime I hear it and I've learnt how to play it off by heart on the piano. Part of it sounds like the music out of The Lord Of The Rings which I also love.

13) Heart of the Cards: 5/5. My second favourite tune on the CD. Again written but not this time sung by Russel Velázquez. The chorus is infact sung by Eric Stuart (Kaiba's voice actor). If it wasn't for the Yu-Gi-Oh! echoey bits this would be my favourite track. Wicked rock music but also with a bit of violins at the start.

14) World of Yu-Gi-Oh!: 2/5. My sister loves this song I just find it long and boring. It has organs in it for God's sake! Even though Russel Velázquez sung this one I just DON'T like it. I think 4kids should've ended on a strong rock song like Time 2 Duel instead of this pathetic rubbish.

As you can see most of the songs on this CD are wicked, only 3 let this CD down so buy it now!
