Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Be Careful
We just bought this swing for our ten month old daughter. I put her in it, buckled her up (no shoulder straps) and she liked it for a minute, then began to cry. She leaned forward to reach for me to get her out, when she did, the left side of the waist belt CAME OUT OF THE SWING! Had I not been right in front of her to catch her she would have tumbled right onto the ground. The straps are the kind that you fold the end in half, push it through the back of the swing and then flatten it back out and that's how it's held in place. There are no kind of metal pieces to ensure the strap doesn't work its way back through. So, not sure how safe this swing is going to be. I don't know if all infant swings are made this way, just be careful.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good purchase for the value paid
I purchased this swing for my 21-month old child. We installed and used it right away. It is nice, stable and secure for the child. The only thing you might want to consider is, if this swing will be installed on a swing set, the ropes of the swing are very long. My son's feet were touching the ground so we could not use it with the original ropes. Good choise for an infant swing. Highly recommended!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Now that it's up, we love it
I have to admit I thought they could have made more of an effort to have the ropes equal before shipping. When I got my swing, one side was about 2 feet and the other about 5 feet. I spent an hour trying to equal the ropes on both sides and finally gave up and put the swing back in the box. The next day I put both feet on the swing and pulled the short end of the rope with both hands and finally got the two back ends equal. Once I did that, the swing hands beautifully. I don't think it can fall over backward, as I've read here, not if it's hanging properly. I also found the try very easy to release, just reach under the try on both sides and pull the plastic locking pieces so that they unlock and the try pops up so you can pull it up the rope and swing it away.. The swing itself is very sturdy, had a lot of room for baby or toddler and the harness is easy to snap together.. I hung the two attached hooks to an old chain I had already attached to a tree. I'm more worried about the old chain than I am about this swing. I can't believe the others are selling for so much money. This is sure as good as any I've seen and a lot less expensive. If it had come with the ropes a little more equal on both sides, I'd have given it five stars. Personally, I don't get the negative comments, especially the security issues. Unless there is something wrong with the swing and/or the ropes, I just don't see how it could tip over. I tried to see if I could get it to tip or twist (before putting baby in it) and I couldn't. The ropes in the back are shorter than the ropes in the front and the back of the chair is higher than the front, I just don't see how it could tip if it's locked into place in the back like it's suppose to be and the ropes are as shown. I'd recommend it, and I'm using it for my grandson.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent buy!!
We purchased this swing for our grandchildren. It is wonderful and provides many hours of entertainment for toddlers. We have a deck with an overhead balcony and we secured the swings up to the overhang. We had one swing and bought another because the kids loved it so much. The swing is durable, easily cleaned and doesn't fade over time. The price is excellent.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Charlotte's first swing
Setup was basically complete right out of the box, just a little adjustment of the ropes and the swing was ready to hang. It seems very stable and well made. Charlotte (6 1/2 months old)loves it.
