This is not a bad movie, i like it and the chemistry between Norris and Gosset are really fun to watch.
Of course, it's cheesy at times and the acting is not so good but that's what makes it fun.
I recommend it, as a fan of Chuck Norris this is a must have in the collection.

Chuck Norris and Louis Gosset are great in this film. chuck and Louis play old friends who love to find treasure. Max (Norris) and Leo (Gosset)are at a bar thinking about calling it quits on treasure hunting anymore when this woman (Melody Anderson)walks into the bar looking for two men who are not scared of anything and love a challenge. so this woman is pointed to Max and Leo and she tells them about a map that will lead to treasure and it is dangerous. so they go and the aventure starts. the come backs between the three is funny. enjoy.

This movie has intentional humour but also unintentional humour and they exist side-by-side quite happily. The action and special effects aren't bad for their time, and it is refreshing to know none of it is made by computer.
The storyline is wonderfully cliched, you could pretty much use this movie as a template for all treasure-hunting movies!

Fun to watch, not the normal Chuck Norris film. One to watch overand over again.

Firewalker was meant to be a combination of Romancing The Stone and Lethal Weapon, and what it is instead is a horrible mismash that wastes the talents of two fine performers - one, a great action movie star (Chuck Norris) who knows how to be charming without going the full fledged comendy route, and a great actor (Louis Gossett, Jr.)whose desire to star in a potential blockbuster may have overwhelmed his judgment.
In Firewalker, Norris and Gossett play two adventurers that end up on a quest for lost treasure, and run afoul of an evil spirit who doesn't want the treasure to be taken. That's as good (or in this case, as bad) as it gets. It's not fun, or particularly excting, and while it might have seemed like a good idea to give Norris a hand at comedy, it doesn't work.
Firewalker is quite missable. Both actors have made many other movies that are a lot more entertaining.
