I was disappointed when Jack of All Trades was taken off the air and am very pleased to find it on dvd. If you like comedy full of plays on words and one-liners you will enjoy Jack.

Any fan of Bruce Cambell should really enjoy this set. Incredibly funny, lots of puns, and a little bit cheesy. All in all, good stuff. Great gift idea for that Bruce Cambell fan.

I knew this was a Bruce Campbell series and didn't know what to expect after seeing movies like "The Man with the Screaming Brain" among others. He's not the best actor, and this series makes fun of that. It is filled with historical inacuracies, poor plot, and little character development. It's best features are special effects and costumes/props. But...it is still Bruce Campbell, and therefore...funny.

This show reminded me of the old Zoro TV shows with a lot of comedy mixed in. It's a lot of fun to watch.

I watched this when it was on the re-re-revamped Action Pack after Hercules bit the dust and it was GREAT! I couldn't understand how it got cancelled. But then... VOILA!!! There it was on DVD and I had forgotten that... in 2006, when I bought it... Kurtzman and Orci had moved from writing "Jack" to "Alias" and then on to "Mission Impossible 3" and the "Transformers" now. Bruce Campbell (The Chin) is fantastic as Jack. I've seen plenty of his films and shows ("Burn Notice" is up next for me) but for me, he'll always be Jack.
The lack of a fifth star in the review is for the DVD. There are, like, NO extras on this. Truly a disappointment, when you consider all the extras on other Raimi/Campbell DVDs. (A great Campbell extra is on "Man with the Screaming Brain." I recommend that, too, for Bruce fans. If you don't like Bruce, you probably won't like it, though.)
