To be honest, I found it annoying. Ms. Austin is way too perky for my tastes. And I would have preferred it if she was actually pregnant herself, because otherwise it just turns me off. The exercises themselves are just fine, I can get a good workout from them, but her personality spoils the workout.

I had worked out some before I was pregnant. I had been lifting weights and doing some cardio about 2-3 times a week. This DVD provides me with a short doable workout that I can complete without feeling exhausted for the rest of the day. Denise Austin is cheerful but I find her pleasant and not too perky or annoying. Her moves aren't too complicated. The cardio section seemed a little cheesy but at least it something to get me moving. I think if you've been exercising for a while and are used to intermediate or advanced moves in your workouts than you might not find this DVD challenging enough. If you are a bit of a couch potato like me or you need a little workout to get you moving then this is a good choice.

This is a great workout. Perfect! Thanks to Denise Austin for creating this great video workout.

I have always liked the simple, and effective workouts by Denise Austin, though prior to getting pregnant I was running everyday, and I thought I would be able to continue that. My first trimester was plagued with an extreme amount of fatigue. This dvd has helped me alot on days when I was too sick or tired to get to the gym. It is fun, simple, and I am always surprised that I break a sweat, and feel my heart rate rise. The toning segments are great and I do the cardio whenever I am too tired to go to the gym. I think it's very effective and recommend to people of all fitness levels.

This video was okay as far as pregnancy workouts go, but I would recommend turning the volume down so that you don't have to listen to Denise Austin saying the same thing over and over again. It is not a strenuous workout in anyway so if you are looking for something to get your heart rate going this wouldn't be for you. If you are just looking for something to get you up and moving than this may be for you, just remember to play some music in the background to drown out her voice...
