This movie is absolutely wonderful. It has rapidly moved to the top of my Christmas movie list - because, of course, what could be better to watch than the actual story of Christmas? The film is very accurate, and also extremely moving. The characters are very real and likeable. It has funny moments, and ones that will bring tears to your eyes. What I love most about this movie is the glimpse into the incredible character of Joseph, which is often bypassed. Joseph really was an amazing man, and so important to the story of Jesus' birth. This movie is an essential one to watch at Christmas time, you will not be disappointed!

I teach religion at a high school and used this video when I taught Christanity. It is rated PG and appropriate for my students. My students enjoyed it and I felt it was a fairly accurate telling of the story.

I loved this movie! The acting is excellent!
Show your support of the making of good movies that support virtue. Buy a NEW DVD to encourage Hollywood to produce more Christian movies. Buying a DVD is like voting for more good Christian movies. I hope and pray that they will produce other movies from the Bible, like Daniel, and Jonah ECT..
This movie points people to forgiveness, mercy, hope, truth , and the gift of salvation.

The Nativity Story is one of the most awesome movies that I have seen when dealing with The Birth of Christ and Christianity. I highly recommend this movie for anyone. The music is also very spiritualy uplifting.

So often I find Bible based movies have their heart in the right place, but are either not very well acted, or are over-acted. This is the exception. The casting was terrific, from Mary and Joseph and her family, down to King Herod and the Magi. (In a lifetime of watching and enjoying movies, this is the first time I've written down the names of the casting personnel, hoping to write them and compliment them.) It's rare to see a movie that gives you "goose bumps" one minute and has your eyes filling up the next. A subdued but stirring soundtrack is the icing on the cake. Very highly recommended.
