This is a cute cartoon of a dancing penguin who follows the beat of his own drum all the way to the land of humans to save his family from starving. When the fish dissappear an oddball penguin who can sing but not dance goes to find out what happened and to appeal to the humans to stop hurting the penguin food chain.

Come on people. lighten it, it's just a fun light hearted movie, not everything is meant to be so serious, it's meant to make you laugh, my 16 year old nephew and 9 year old nephew thought it was hilarious, it's a cute movie!

Happy Feet is such a good movie for all ages. I have
learned a lot about penguins just from this movie (and
from my granddaughter (17) who collects penguins and
literature about penguins. She would like to do something in this world to protect penguins someday.

I bought this when my kids were 4 and 3 and they would watch it for a few minutes and then get bored and want to watch something else. I don't think we have ever played it to the end. I think it might be for a little bit older children. Mine don't ask to watch it so I figure I'll pull it back out in a couple of years and try again.
