I bought this for my six year old son for Christmas, and it is by far his favorite toy. Transforming it from robot to car the first time did take quite a while, but the resulting car is very realistic. Now that I have done a couple of transformations, I can convert it in about ten minutes. It's too advanced for my son to transform though. When in car mode, the transformer locks together very well (first time I went to transform it back, I was surprised by how much force it took to unsnap some of the panels).
When in car mode, the electronics have some pretty cool effects. When you push the car, the engine revs, and the headlights come on. When the car stops, it screeches to a halt and the tail light light up. Robot mode effects are cool too.
Highly recommend this toy.

Overall this transformers toy that I bought for my 6 years is very neat. He enjoys it alot, but I have to change it from Robot to Vehicle everytime. Even for myself, the pieces are hard to put together and take apart to change back and forth. My son has many tansmformers and this so far is the one most complicated. He does however enjoy it very much. Thanks.

This item was ordered on short notice and arrived within 4-days of ordering in perfect condition. It was a very hard to find Christmas toy in 2007 and sold out in every store. The ordering was easy and follow-up for tracking and customer serverice was excellent.

My kid loves this toy, changing from a car to a robot may be too complex at first, but it is a great puzzle to help learn together for parents and kids!

I bought this for my son at Christmas after reading several reviews talking about the durability and stoutness of the toy. The price was steep for us at the time, but I figured for my 10 yr old, he would be able to get some good play time from it. When it was finally opened and put together at Christmas, OMG!! What a cool toy! The arms move, it's a solid toy once assembled in either form. Wow!
The only things to take note:
Pay attention to the assembly instructions.. it is detailed, but once you've done it successfully, this is not a problem to repeat.
The arms have to fit into the joint attachment a certain way. Reason being is that they do move when in Bumblebee mode. Pay attention to assembly instructions on this.
The price is high, but you are really getting a great toy that is designed to be played with by kids, I would say, 7 and above. Any younger is just a neat thing to throw and with the cost, that spells disaster.
All in all, Wow! well worth the cost and durable and with the bells and whistle's, in the words of Woody from Toy Story talking to Buzz Lightyear, "you're a COOL toy!"
