All I can say was it challenged all of us "adults" first time out but
grandson enjoyed having it to play with as it's his favorite movie now.

I purchased this toy for my son who is within the age group advertised for this toy. It broke within the first two hours of play. I would like to return the toy. Hasbro Transformers Ultimate Bumblebee Figure

It is very complicated to transform and I fear my son can easily break items off. On the other hand, the sound effects and the imagination my son has when playing with it
are worth it.

I got this for my husband for his birthday and he loves it. He will transform it while watching tv. It's pretty entertaining...I even enjoy it myself! I wouldn't pay that much for it and give it to a kid...my husband will transform it and display it for a while and when he thinks of it he brings it out to transform it again and display it that way for a few days.

First of all, let me say that getting this for Xmas was great! I wanted it for the shear enjoyment of a Transformer, and that it would look cool in my Computer room/office. It's not so much a toy for me as much as it is art. The design that was put into it is fantastic.
It does take some time to transform it, though it gets easier after the 2nd or 3rd time. I recommend going on Youtube, and looking at the Powet Toy reviews, where they show an excellent review and how to transform it. The instructions that came with it are sketchy to say the least.
The first time transforming it can be a little un-nerving, especially snapping the parts together initially. A very tight fit, but Bumblebee looks great once he's transformed in either mode.
This is NOT a toy for children. I'm 44 and can see how a child would love it, but the transformation is not something a youngster can easily do. I'd recommend the deluxe class bumblebee for younger collectors (which I'm planning on getting - one for my son, and one for me).
I'd say that it's a great "toy" to collect and display, and occasionally have fun with, but not for everyday banging around.
