Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I didn't know Elvis movies could be this good...
My mother's been on an Elvis thing lately so I've been seeing plenty of on-screen Elvis. This one and Love Me Tender have been the best so far. This movie differs from most of the other Elvis movies that I've seen in that it actually has a plot. Elvis plays Mike Edwards, a amazingly stunning pilot who wears nice suits and whose gleaming hair is never disturbed - even while flying. I wonder why? His friend Danny (the copilot) gets them in a fix through his gambling. They are going to lose their plane if Danny doesn't pay up, so they hitch a ride to Seattle in the back of a farm truck of one Mr Ling, who is taking his niece Su-Lin to the World's Fair. Entrancing little Su-Lin quickly befriends Mike, who ends up taking her in when her uncle disappears without a trace. Su-Lin eats herself sick at the fair, resulting in a visit to the dispensary where Mike meets a nurse. Not just any nurse - this nurse totally trips his trigger. He tries several times and in most peculiar ways to get her attention. It does not seem as though he is going to be able to get to her, however, until Su-Lin takes things into her own hands, with the help of an innocent and unsuspecting heater. This movie is definitely funny. Even most of the songs are actually quite nice. "Relax" is quite the song, at the beginning, full of highly choreographed moves from Mike as well as a gal who plays hard-to-get when he stops her from making iced tea in favour of kisses on the nice cosy couch. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who cares to see it and even to those who don't. It's a nice way to spend 105 minutes of your life, or whatever the length of the movie is. Go for it. Take me to the fair.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Entertaining Elvis vehicle for kids!
If you or your family likes Elvis like I do, you must see this picture. I know this didn't get huge ratings but it's an entertaining Elvis film. I definetly like when Elvis and young Vicky Tiu ride on the monorail at dusk at the Seattle World's Fair and Elvis singing to himself "They Remind Me Too Much Of You" In this movie, Elvis has a big fight scene, as he always did in his movies. Elvis actually loved doing those fight scenes. He actually was fighting, but the crew was worried and said "Come on, Elvis, let's let someone double for you." Elvis refused and said "No, I want to do my own fights." I've first seen this when I was in second grade and I loved it when I first saw it, and still do. I know you're bound to enjoy it.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - fun to watch
My granddaughter has fallen in love with Elvis (she's gonna be 9) and there are certain movies of his that she wants for her collection and this one happens to be one of them and I can't find it anywhere! I called Blockbuster customer service and for whatever reason this movie is out of print as of February of this year. Their only suggestion was to rent it and make a copy of it! I see that there are alot of others who would also like this movie so until (if ever) they re-release it, this is the only way to get it or wait and see if it comes on TV and tape it.

How in the world can they stop releasing any of Elvis' movies?

I wanted to give my granddaughter this movie as her birthday present but now I don't know if I can.
