Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - For those who love color, a feast for the eyes (rods and cones required)
The first reviewer has more than adequately written about the story of the film, and much better than I ever could.

First, let me say that I've always had a fndness for Robin Williams' films. OK, he's sometimes schmaltzy, but for a long time he was only given schmaltzy and/or cartoonish roles. What did anyone expect? People who are still biased against him might want to check out his later work.

Anyway. I recently tuned into this film out of idle curiosity, and found myself completely mesmerized by the highly saturated colors and pretty realistic visual effects used in the film. I have to say that color and visual texture are some of my favorite things in movies; watching a richly-shaded film like "Girl With a Pearl Earring" is, for me, to experience two hours of pure visceral delight.

I really didn't care too much about what the film had to say about the living and the dead. But I tend not to get my philosophies from movies.

A film critic once called the film "Barry Lyndon" "a feast for the eyes, a famine for the mind." And some may say the same of "What Dreams May Come," which at least is not hobbled by the wretched excesses of Stanley Kubrick's self-indulgent direction. But all the same, beauty should be celebrated. Too little of it comes out of Hollywood these days.

This film does what the final sequence in 2001: A Space Odyssey failed to do: inspire simple awe in the beauty that is possible.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Unconventional movie but well done
This is one of my favorite movies. I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for humor, suspense, and a great love story.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - What Dreams May Come
The DVD came so quickly and it was just like new. Very awesome. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - best romance flick ever!
I owned this movie before. then someone stole it! since its my favorite movie of all time, i had to get it again. yes, it is a romance, some say chick flick, but its a good one!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - SCAMMED!!
The DVD was blank. I could not play it anywhere. Not on my computer, not on the various DVD players I have at home! I got scammed!!
