Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A great Bond classic

Let's face it. At this point no one is watching James Bond films to see if Bond can overcome the bad guys and win the day and the girl. Everybody knows who is going to come out on top. The reason for watching Bond films is not Bond himself but the peripherals, the gadgets, stunts and/or the villains.

In this case, Max Zorin, played by Christopher Walken, is the main reason this film is so good. The gadgets this time around are pretty run-of-the-mill, especially by today's standards. But walken can walk onto a set and turn a mediocre script and an aging actor still trying to pass himself off as a ladies man (in this case Roger Moore) into something well worth the time.

The final battle between Bond and Zorin always gives me the creeps, more so on the big screen than it does on a small TV, but it still is breathtaking.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A View to a Kill Roger Moore's best yet!
I loved this film, I thought that for his last effort as Bond, Roger Moore did an excellent job. I always thought he was so cool as Bond, to me Roger Moore and Sean Connery will always be the best James Bonds. I loved the action seqences and I agree that it does some what resemble "Goldfinger" another favorite of mine, but this one is a few steps up. I'm a big 007 fan from way back and this one is one of my favorites. Love the theme song also, done by Duran Duran. Roger Moore and "A View to a Kill" rocks!!!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Just plain silly
Even Walken couldn't save this movie. Just plain silly. Flood silicon valley so he would be the only manufacturer of chips? huh?

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Revisiting all the Bonds, this was good!!!
I enjoyed this movie a lot more than I thought I would. Roger Moore seems to play Bond with humor and Bond should not be played that way in my opinion. Moonraker was tought to watch. A View To A Kill was a nice surprise. Bond kept the one-liners to a minimum and played the roll fairly straight. I think Roger Moore was much better when he was trying to be serious. And he did a good job here. Walken was a GREAT bad guy. Grace Jones was wonderful as May Day. Overall AVTAK is one of the best Moore Bond films.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - My favourite James Bond
I love Roger Moore as James Bond and this James Bond is great !
