We bought this for my 4.5 year old son 2 weeks ago and he hasn't willingly let go of it once. (Not even for bed or the bathroom) He is very rough on toys and did manage to knock one of his treads loose but my husband was easily able to repair it with Gorilla Glue Adhesive, 4-Ounces #50004. (The few hours it took for the glue to set was filled with my sons screams because he couldn't hold the figure!!) The head pops off & on with little effort but it doesn't seem to be showing any extra wear from my son messing around with it. I'm considering buying a second one to have on hand if my son loses this one since he's so attached to it.

This toy was way over priced for what you got. I thought it was going to be much bigger. It is only about 1 inch high. I was very disappointed when I opened the package. It was suppose to go on top of my son's birthday cake but I ended up using a differnent WALL-E. Later, I saw big WALL-E's for half the price at Blockbuster Video that were even remote control!

Considering that the film is about how our material civilization is destroying the planet, it's more than a little ironic that the Disney Corporation is issuing a whole line of WALL-E merchandise. They should have added a scene to the film where WALL-E scoops up a WALL-E action figure in out of all the junk and has an existential crisis. (Maybe it'll be in the video release).
Oh well, WALL-E is adorable and the planet's doomed anyway and I could use something for my desk.....

I love to collect movie/tv collectible and i had to get Wall e after watching the movie. It has wheels so it rolls around and its arms are movable and its robot wrists open and kinda has a opposable thumg. Head can rotate. :) it's nice.
